Crop Images for Any Platform
Crop and resize photos for social posts, websites, ads, and product listings. CropKit is free, and the image stays on your device.
How to use CropKit
- Add an image by dropping it, choosing a file, or pasting from the clipboard.
- Pick a platform size, a ratio, or type a width and height. Leave the lock on to keep the shape.
- Drag the photo inside the frame.
- Rotate, flip, or reset if the framing is wrong. Zoom changes the crop, not the download size.
- Choose JPEG, PNG, or WebP, check the preview, then download. CropKit removes the image from this tab after a successful download.

| Landscape post | 1080×566 | 1.91:1 |

What you can do here
Drop in a JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF image, frame the part you want, and download a file at a known pixel size. A preset sets the width, height, and crop shape. Custom numbers do the same thing when a preset is not the right fit.
Zoom tightens the frame. It does not change the export width or height. Rotate and flip stay on this device, and Start over clears the temporary copy from the tab.
FAQ
Does CropKit upload my image?
CropKit does not upload the file. Cropping, resizing, and export run in this browser tab. The file is not sent to an ad network or an analytics service.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the page, add an image, and download the result.
Which file types can I use?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF. AVIF export is offered only when this browser can encode it. HEIC from some phones is not supported; export a JPEG or PNG from the photos app first.
Will the export lose quality?
A crop that keeps the original pixels does not add blur. Resizing to a different pixel size resamples the image. PNG is lossless. JPEG and standard WebP are lossy, and the quality slider controls that. If the export is larger than the cropped area, the browser upscales and the result can look soft.
What does zoom do?
Zoom changes how tightly the frame is cropped. It does not change the width and height you set for the download.
Why was my image rejected or scaled down?
Very large files can freeze a tab. CropKit rejects files over 30 MB, images over 10,000 pixels on a side, and images over 40 megapixels. If the long side is over 4,096 pixels, CropKit scales a working copy and says so. The download uses that working copy.
Can I edit several images?
Yes, up to 8 at a time. Adjust each image, then download one file or a ZIP. Images you have not framed are center-cropped to the current size.
Are the platform sizes official?
No. They are practical sizes CropKit keeps in one configuration file, last reviewed in October 2026. Platforms change specs. Confirm the current requirements before a campaign.
All preset sizes
The same numbers drive the buttons in the editor. These sizes are practical targets maintained by CropKit. Platforms change their rules, safe areas, and compression. Check the current specification before a campaign, an ad, or a catalog upload.
